Highland Games meets Fitness Racing
Seeding qualifiers to the main event!
clash of the clans
Team fitness racing meets Highland games.
A functional fitness competition for teams of 4 competing over 2 days using modern and Scottish cultural equipment to win the coveted Clan Battle.
Two virtual seeding qualifiers in May arrange teams into 4 divisions ahead of the Clan Battle held on the Nort Inch, Perth, Scotland on 29/30th July 23.
Clash of the Clans celebrates the historic
Battle of the Clans, or Battle of the North Inch that took place on 28 September 1396. The battle was a mass trial by combat organised by King Robert III, who had tried (and failed) to get members of Clan Chattan and Clan Mackay to settle their differences peacefully.
The battle was watched by King Robert and members of the public, who were kept behind barriers at the combat site, in North Inch, Perthshire.
Our online seeding qualifiers split teams into 4 divisions, creating more opportunities to win prizes and ensuring the competition is accessible to all fitness levels and abilities. Our divisions are named after the most iconic Scottish battles, each with its own identity, so you can wear the shield and tartan with pride. The battles' purposes are left in the past, now we use them only in name to highlight the history behind the tradition of Scottish Clans and the motivation behind a common purpose that makes us outperform as a team, to be greater than sum of its parts.
Kilts optional, tartan essential!
Spectators are welcome for free, no tickets required. Lots to do in the wider Energy Festival that Clash is hosted in.
Our venue is right in the center of Perth city with lots of parking available.
